 Alright, so it’s been a while since I have posted anything. Yea I know I am bad at this haha. I guess this should be more of a 2021-2023 update. It was originally the 2022 update but I failed at that too. We will just touch the tip of the events and I might add a post in depth to some of them at some point. (I will link them if I do, don’t worry about clicking around to find specifics). More of a list than pictures for this one but a short interesting life update read.  Let’s begin with 2021 in mid summer.  Our dog London became very sick. We planned on her not making it due to her blood having to be diluted FOUR times to even get results to populate! They think she got into something that was poisonous and was putting her into severe liver failure. We did in home IV and forced food and water down her throat for the weekend. She ended up getting better slowly but, since it’s now 2023, she still has some lasting effects but she is happy and loved.  The husband turned...

Over the course of the last what like two years, we have been looking here and there at new homes. Mainly new builds. Figured that we could get a brand new house customized to exactly what we wanted and needed since after we had Rosella, the house we bought 7 years ago is seeming small. Well, Steven was never really on board with the whole "moving" thing.  FINALLY! He realized that we did in fact need a larger house and more backyard space. So December 2020 we called our realtor, who I might add we have been using and staying in contact with since we bought our first home in 2014. And we begun looking. We slowly got our house ready to go on the market since we were not listing it until we were under contract with a new house.  We really did not want to rush into any house we didnt love since we were basically looking for the house we will be in until the kids move out. So we began our search. Houses popped up and were under contract within a day or two. The market was moving ...

So with the new year, EVERYONE is making resolutions which we all don't keep some if not most. This year I want to try to keep ALL my resolutions. I bought a  weekly planner  to try to keep up with everything. As of right now, it is January 1st. So I am trying to get everything that I have thought about down into the  weekly planner . I have been thinking about everything I want to do but we just do not have the funds for it. So something I cannot write down to accomplish daily/weekly/monthly is to actually pay debt off. I know my husband hates when I talk about money in any aspect but we currently have a house, two vehicles, a couple or so credit cards, and some other loans. So we owe a lot, just use your imagination. My goal is to get at least 2 but hopefully 3 of these paid off. We do have a few that are no interest for 12-18 months but beside the point I want 2-3 of anything paid off. I would love to begin looking for a house to live in until the kids graduate high ...

To celebrate our one year anniversary, we decided to go to Vegas. The night before we left, we had the "top layer" of our wedding cake. (Actually, the place we got our cake from makes a small anniversary cake for certain anniversaries, so it was not actually frozen, but it was fresh.) We cut the cake with our cake cutting set from the wedding and shared the moment with my parents and sister. The next day, we headed out to Vegas. Upon arrival to our hotel, Treasure Island, Steven booked me a few hours at the spa for a Swedish massage, shower body exfoliation and hydrotherapy bath. So pretty much when we arrived in our room, I unpacked then headed straight to the spa. Steven, on the other hand, went to the casino to gamble. (He actually won pretty good amount of money too.) After spending 5-hours at he spa, I headed back to the room to quickly get changed into something more, dinner appropriate, as we headed to S&W steakhouse for our dinner reservations. So for our honeymoon, we decided to go to my home area, Southern California. We got 5 day city passes that included, one day at Universal Studios Hollywood, three day park hopper tickets with one magic morning tickets to Disneyland/California Adventures, and one day to Sea World San Diego. We took or honeymoon from Saturday March 1, directly after the wedding until Sunday March 9. It all started as our friends and family celebrated our marriage by seeing us off for the first night as husband and wife. We got into the limo and headed into Phoenix to our hotel. After staying at the Westin, it has become a regular place we stay to get away. But any who, we got room service and rested up from all the excitement from the wedding and for the first full day of our honeymoon. Our wedding was on March 1, 2014. With the days counting down and our wedding day almost here, there were still last minute things that must be done. The day before the wedding my friends and family started to come into town. We held the wedding rehearsal that afternoon and then the rehearsal dinner directly after at my parents house where friends and family gathered for dinner. It was really nice to be able to see my family, since I have not seen them in a while. As the night came closer, my soon to be husband headed back to our house and I stayed with my parents. Us girls did our nails, had some drinks and talked. It had been a little rainy that day and as I went to sleep, I prayed that it would stop raining. I could not sleep very well that night and Steven ended up calling me in the middle of the night since he could not sleep either. With the planning of the wedding came a lot of stress. Not just on me, but on my fiancee  and my parents. First, Steven and I did not know exactly what we wanted to do. We thought about having the wedding in California where I am from, having it in Arizona at a church, or just anywhere that was nice. After looking around we found a few wonderful places. The only real difference was that one venue we had to find our own vendors and the other venue everything was already provided to us. So after a little bit of deliberation, we settled on Regency Garden, where  everything was already provided to us. With everything doing on, it was hard to even plan the wedding. Even though all we really had to do was meet with the vendor and make a decision. Using Pinerest, I was able to get some ideas of what I wanted so the meeting would be easier to accomplish instead of going in blind and trying to figure out what I wanted.
