 Hey!! So I was sitting here thinking about how to share some of the things we have found or done that are perfect for kids! And I de used maybe a quarterly post, not too soon and also not a long span either. I think four times a year is good, your thoughts!?!?  Alright let’s start! It will be a picture, link to either a video of it and/or where to get one and short description of it and how my kids liked it. This will be probably longer than I will do since I have other unpublished posts with ideas right now, so I will lump them together here.  1.   Dollar store items usually are able to keep the kids entertained for at least half an hour.   2.   Crafts for craft stores - here we have Hobby Lobby and Michaels, where we can by little craft packages that contain various small crafts including pompom crafts, toilet paper roll crafts, pipe cleaner crafts, stained glass art, sand art, wood crafts, ceramic crafts and so many more!  Amazon...

With road closures in the spring due to snow, my husband was repulled for the fall turkey hunt! Since it was still within camping season, we decided to make it a family trip. The kids had two weeks after school which was perfect timing.  The two weekends prior to opening day we went up and did some scouting and some camping, trying to get a familiar idea of where to hunt and where the turkeys are. We can’t really do much with our kids because they scare the turkey and any animal away anywhere near us because they’re so loud. when it finally comes down to a few days before opening day, my husband decides that Wednesday afternoon he was going to go up and get us a spot. I said fine that’s perfect only because I wanted to make sure we got a good spot and since it was gonna be the first weekend we didn’t want to have to settle for something that we didn’t wanna be in for a week and a half since we did plan to be camping a maximum of 10 days. Ok so like this all happened in June 2021…. But I just got it done. Hahaha.  So I have been bothering Steven to go up north anywhere and go hiking or do something in general didn’t matter what just wanted to go up north. so Friday morning I sent Steven a hotel and said we can get the kids and go after work and a spend the weekend up there.  Steven ended up coming to me about 10 in the morning and saying this is your only offer. That offer was: leave after work pick up the kids drive up to Williams AZ. Spend the night get up early go fishing, go through Bearizona, then head to the Grand Canyon. After that head on back home.  So of course I said yes because I’ve been bugging him to do something. So I packed the bags on my lunch and got ready for our trip.  Alright, so it’s been a while since I have posted anything. Yea I know I am bad at this haha. I guess this should be more of a 2021-2023 update. It was originally the 2022 update but I failed at that too. We will just touch the tip of the events and I might add a post in depth to some of them at some point. (I will link them if I do, don’t worry about clicking around to find specifics). More of a list than pictures for this one but a short interesting life update read.  Let’s begin with 2021 in mid summer.  Our dog London became very sick. We planned on her not making it due to her blood having to be diluted FOUR times to even get results to populate! They think she got into something that was poisonous and was putting her into severe liver failure. We did in home IV and forced food and water down her throat for the weekend. She ended up getting better slowly but, since it’s now 2023, she still has some lasting effects but she is happy and loved.  The husband turned...

I grew up where every summer my family would take our travel trailer for two weeks to a new destination and see the USA. I have dreamt of doing this with my kids. My husband and I have talked about getting one for so long but we never did. Until April 16 2022. We bit the bullet and bought a small Coleman Camper! It sleeps 6 people, but has a queen and a bunk bed which is perfect for us 4. No slide outs and basically minimal things. Has a fireplace for heat and an AC, shower, toilet, microwave, fridge, two burners and a sink. Not super fancy but perfect for our little young family. We upgraded and added some things.  Our must have list  for camping and trailers! We took it out so many times the year we bought it. Various places within AZ. Some campsites, some off the grid areas. Though while having hookups is nice, there is something about just parking the trailer in the middle of no where, sitting outside among the trees with a generator going every once in a while and letting...

 Alright! So we talked about it for years and we always told ourselves we would be getting a farm, that did not happen. But we did still get the chickens!!!  While I am sooo late in writing this, like 5 months later, the chickens are amazing! We originally bought four chicks. All females. Well at this point we still have all four hens! They have been laying eggs for a few months. They did great thru the hot summer here!   We named them some odd names. Well kind of like food names . Nugget, meatball, dumpling and squeakers (she is quite loud!) The kids love the chickens! They are so sweet and Logan loves to hold them! Rosella, well she is a bit timid with them but she loves them as well. We let them out of their coup to wander the grass for a bit when we can.
