Obsessed With Thrillers? This Is for You — Bingo, Bookmarks, Books & More!

Image
If you’re anything like me, you don’t just read thrillers.... you LIVE for them. The secrets, the twists, the unreliable narrators, the “wait… WHAT?!” moments that make you flip back three chapters just to breathe. As a thriller author , I spend my days creating twists, building tension, and crafting characters who lie, manipulate, and unravel in the most delicious ways. So it’s probably no surprise that I also love creating thriller‑themed printables and reading accessories for my fellow suspense lovers!! Today, I’m sharing something I’ve been work on (along with the 50 other things bouncing in my mind)!  Thriller Book Bingo!! This little bingo card is a fun, interactive way to track all the wild tropes and jaw‑dropping moments you encounter while reading your next thriller ( or mine ). And because I can’t help myself, I’m also linking some other thriller related items, because if you’re here, you’re my people! Whether you’re a casual thriller reader, a book club host, o...

Reward Ideas for Kids

Image
So, Logan has had behavioral issues in school due to his ADHD. He is now over half way through First Grade. The school does a great job keeping us informed which we LOVE! But at home, after school is usually when his medicine wears off. So we have been trying to find ways to help keep him motivated to behave. I know this sounds weird but if you do not have a child with severe ADHD, it may not make sense to you. Logan bounces off the walls and could outrun the energizer bunny on steroids.  Back to what I was saying about rewards. I guess these ideas can be used for whatever you want. I know some of these we do use for chores and things too. (As always, I will link in videos as I can or things that we have used!) Sticker Charts: we have used these on and off, specifically these reward sticker journals , they come with many varying chores and tasks with quite a few blank to fill in yourself if needed. Then its listed out Mon-Sunday and 7 task columns. There is a goal and reward box. I...

Adding to the Chaos by Going Back to College!

Image
So because my life isnt already crazy enough, I figured why not go back to college!!! So today I have just finished my eighth week or first term. So far so good! I am attending Southern New Hampshire University. I am going for my BA in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology.  I already have attended college before (for like four years ...) so I only have 18 classes remaining. Most are specific to the degree so at least I have that going for me! But now I am trying to balance working full time, two toddlers (unless 4 year olds are not considered toddlers anymore), and now part time college! Even thought they are all online, figured I needed to be prepared! Amazon for the win. So the first week I actually had off work so I was able to get used to the whole online stuff. I have done online classes before, like years ago. I looked back at my transcripts for when I did attend school and it has been SIX YEARS. But hey, no time like the present.  My first class was In...

New Year & New DECADE Resolutions for 2020

Image
So with the new year, EVERYONE is making resolutions which we all don't keep some if not most. This year I want to try to keep ALL my resolutions. I bought a  weekly planner  to try to keep up with everything. As of right now, it is January 1st. So I am trying to get everything that I have thought about down into the  weekly planner . I have been thinking about everything I want to do but we just do not have the funds for it. So something I cannot write down to accomplish daily/weekly/monthly is to actually pay debt off. I know my husband hates when I talk about money in any aspect but we currently have a house, two vehicles, a couple or so credit cards, and some other loans. So we owe a lot, just use your imagination. My goal is to get at least 2 but hopefully 3 of these paid off. We do have a few that are no interest for 12-18 months but beside the point I want 2-3 of anything paid off. I would love to begin looking for a house to live in until the kids graduate high ...
