So if you read the post about ADHD (see it here) you know we struggle with behavior. As I was going to school for Forensic Psychology, I had the ability to do a few research papers on it. I figured why not share them, so here are the links to the posts from my coursework I conducted research on. Hope it is useful and gets you thinking!


Also, you know that while he was in Kindergarten it felt like I was having to homeschool him more than anything. As time went on, even still, I create worksheets for them for their grade and what they are learning! I have them up on a site called Teacher Pay Teachers for other parents and teachers to utilize! Here are some of the worksheets that my littles love!


Beginning Sounds Worksheets - (set 1 and set 2) These are designed for kindergarten and first graders to help with reading skills and letter sounds. 

 Nonsense Words Lists - (set 1) These help kids sound out letters in a three letter nonsense word. Basically is what you think it is, a bunch of random letters together. 

Coloring Ten Frames - (set 1) This helps a child relate the numerical number to boxes and for counting. 

Writing Prompts for Beginners - (set 1 and set 2) These are designed to get kids thinking and using their various reading, spelling, writing and creativity skills, to form a short answer to the question. Some are open and some are guided with 4 options.

I always knew I wanted another baby. I have always wanted one boy and one girl. Eighteen months apart, a boy first. It was how I always pictured my future. DIY Baby Food

I always thought about making my own baby food with Logan but it never happened. Then after Rosella was born, I decided to give it a try. We have a local farmers market and I had a week off when she started on solids.  The jars I have used are each 4oz. For less than $20.00, I picked up all this fresh fruits and veggies! A while back I purchased the Kindle version of  this book  to help direct me on my baby food making journey. Between the book and common knowledge I begun to create a bunch of different recipes. I add all the different recipes in here to the blog every so often so just look out for them or search for them. Avocado Spinach Pear Puree This recipe will make about 16 ounces of baby food - this is one of my daughters favorites! You will need:    - 2 avocados    -10-15 leaves of spinach    - 2 pears Step 1: Wash and peel the pears, Remove the core and cut into small chunks. Creamy Spaghetti: Recipe

Creamy spaghetti is one of my favourite spins on traditional spaghetti. While I do not really like tomato sauce, this replaces it with a creamy sauce. My husband is not too fond of it; he doesn't care for pasta; but between the kids and I, we love it!  Ingredients:  1 to 1 1/2 pounds of ground mild Italian sausage  1 bell pepper diced 1/4 onion diced 1 tbsp minced garlic 2 tsp Italian seasoning  10 oz can of fire roasted tomatoes (or mild tomatoes if you don't want the spice) 3 cups chicken broth or stock 10 oz dried spaghetti  pinch of black pepper pinch of salt 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream 1/2 mozzarella cheese  Directions: Heat the olive oil in a medium pan Combine the bell pepper and onion in when the oil is warm for two minutes, then add the garlic Mix in the Italian sausage until it is brown.
