Prior to the proposal, we will start on Sunday March 10, 2013. On March 10, I was working at PetSmart in the early afternoon to mid evening. Steven was going out with his grandma to get some new clothes. My grandparents were out visiting from back home in California. After I got off work I was going over there to meet Steven and have dinner with my family. Steven was already at my parents house when I had arrived. Before I had arrived, Steven had purchased an engagement ring and asked my dad, mom, grandma and grandpa for my hand in marriage. My family is pretty traditional when it comes down to these things. Although, I found out after Steven proposed to me that my grandparents were expecting him to do it that night in front of my family, in which did not happen. Steven and I met on December 8, 2011 at Club Myst in Scottsdale, Arizona. I  was at the club with my friend, my sister and her friends. Steven was with one of his friends, Colin, in which they were in line behind us. In line my sister, Tori, fell off the curb. Being gentlemen as they were asked if she was alright. Of course my sister is clumsy, it runs in the family. We all introduced ourselves and were hanging out before we were able to get into the club. I learned that Steven and Colin were waiting to hear back form the Chandler-Gilbert Police Academy. With that being said, we talked about how I was in the police explorer program back home in California and that Tori was going to school for something along the lines of police investigation. Instantly clicking with the major interest Steven and I shared, we continued to talk about it until we were inside the club.
