Magic Paper Towel Paintings


Alright, so after talking with various people, it was decided that each activity deserves its own post. Also because it is less work to find exactly what you have come here for! So lets get into it! Also, (hopefully) all activities will have links to YouTube so make sure to follow us there as well to see the fun! Sometimes they will be posted before the blog! I will post them under the what you need since it is like a tutorial!

You need 3 things and there are 5 steps only! Setup is only the time it takes to collect the materials and you can make as many as you want! Once the paper towel gets wet, the colored image shows through like magic!



What you need:
- paper towels
- tub with water
- watch the tutorial video!




Directions:
1. fold the paper towel in half
2. draw on the front side a simple image in black marker
3. open the paper towel. you should see the outline that bled through. Color! fill in your drawing, give it color, make it creative!
4. fold it back in half
5. place it in water and let the water work its magic!

Rosella's Pregnancy

I always knew I wanted another baby. I have always wanted one boy and one girl. Eighteen months apart, a boy first. It was how I always pictured my future. So after the issues getting pregnant with Logan, I decided to try something more natural. So I took supplements that helped regulate women's hormones, which was what I needed. I know I did not go into details but it took us about 18 months to get pregnant with Logan after taking progesterone pills for 6 months. So back to this pregnancy, I decided natural supplements , with ovulation predictor kits and temping. Unlike with Logan, Rosella's pregnancy was more "planned" if you will. Creamy Spaghetti: Recipe

Creamy spaghetti is one of my favourite spins on traditional spaghetti. While I do not really like tomato sauce, this replaces it with a creamy sauce. My husband is not too fond of it; he doesn't care for pasta; but between the kids and I, we love it!  Ingredients:  1 to 1 1/2 pounds of ground mild Italian sausage  1 bell pepper diced 1/4 onion diced 1 tbsp minced garlic 2 tsp Italian seasoning  10 oz can of fire roasted tomatoes (or mild tomatoes if you don't want the spice) 3 cups chicken broth or stock 10 oz dried spaghetti  pinch of black pepper pinch of salt 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream 1/2 mozzarella cheese  Directions: Heat the olive oil in a medium pan Combine the bell pepper and onion in when the oil is warm for two minutes, then add the garlic Mix in the Italian sausage until it is brown.
