Singer Woodcraft: The Beginning

Alright we did it!!! After a lot of planning and talking and research, we decided to open up a woodcraft business! However, it has begun to incorporate some metal things but still! Majority is wooden home decor and personalised wooden decor. 

I had let the husband buy a CNC machine from someone we had done business with in the past and that’s where it all started. He was talking about a CNC machine for YEARS and I kept saying too expensive. Well, an angel came to us and we got one for an AMAZING price. Then the creation and options we had were endless. Until I of course was like can we make this? And he said it can’t and that a laser would be able to. So after releasing our first few projects, a personalized monogram wall decor sign and pumpkin lanterns, we had enough to get me my laser! 

The laser has given us so many more possibilities and they are endless! As we still get a handle on creating things, supply, and all that businessy stuff, we have learned ALOT! 

We have been working on our Etsy shop, slowly posting on social media’s (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) where we want to slowly start working and building larger projects and items that we can put how to and everything onto YouTube. As we learn all about what we can do and make, it is the holidays so that itself has been busy! 

I know this is more of my personal and family type blog so I won’t always bore you with business related things but I do wanna keep you all updated on where we go with it! And as always, the best support you can give a small business is liking, sharing, following, maybe shopping and it does mean the world to us all!

DIY Baby Food

I always thought about making my own baby food with Logan but it never happened. Then after Rosella was born, I decided to give it a try. We have a local farmers market and I had a week off when she started on solids.  The jars I have used are each 4oz. For less than $20.00, I picked up all this fresh fruits and veggies! A while back I purchased the Kindle version of  this book  to help direct me on my baby food making journey. Between the book and common knowledge I begun to create a bunch of different recipes. I add all the different recipes in here to the blog every so often so just look out for them or search for them. Avocado Spinach Pear Puree This recipe will make about 16 ounces of baby food - this is one of my daughters favorites! Creamy Spaghetti: Recipe

Creamy spaghetti is one of my favourite spins on traditional spaghetti. While I do not really like tomato sauce, this replaces it with a creamy sauce. My husband is not too fond of it; he doesn't care for pasta; but between the kids and I, we love it!  Ingredients:  1 to 1 1/2 pounds of ground mild Italian sausage  1 bell pepper diced 1/4 onion diced 1 tbsp minced garlic 2 tsp Italian seasoning  10 oz can of fire roasted tomatoes (or mild tomatoes if you don't want the spice) 3 cups chicken broth or stock 10 oz dried spaghetti  pinch of black pepper pinch of salt 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream 1/2 mozzarella cheese  Directions: Heat the olive oil in a medium pan Combine the bell pepper and onion in when the oil is warm for two minutes, then add the garlic Mix in the Italian sausage until it is brown.
