Fondue Sliders with Fries: Recipe

So many people have expressed an interest in this little meal I make. Although my husband and kids are not too fond of it, for different reasons, I love it! It is probably one of my favorites and I can make it just for me when I need (without the onions and fries). But still, even the dipping sauce for the fries I can make within a minute if we are making something else with fries.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 12 Brioche rolls
  • 1 large red onion
  • 1/2 oz parsley
  • 1/2 oz chopped garlic
  • 3 russet potatoes
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 1/2 oz thousand island dressing
  • 2 fl oz heavy whipping cream
  • 2 oz shredded swiss cheese
  • 4 tsp olive oil

Directions
  1. Preheat over to 450 degrees.
  2. Line cookie sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  3. Wash and cut potatoes. Cut potatoes into little sticks.
  4. Halve the onion and slice into thin strips.
  5. Mince parsley leaves.
  6. Mix thousand island, garlic, parsley and smoked paprika together. Set aside.
  7. Toss cut potatoes in 1 tsp of olive oil and spread evenly on prepared cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Heat small pan over medium heat. Add 1tsp olive oil and onions to hot pan. Stir often until onions are darkened and soft. 10-15 minutes. Add a little bit of water as needed.
  9. Flatten out the ground beef into 12 mini patties.
  10. Heat 1 tsp olive oil in large pan. Place in all 12 mini patties and cook until there is no pink inside about 5-7 minutes each side.
  11. Using the pan used to make the patties, slice the rolls in half to make buns and place face down to toast.
  12. In medium pot, heat 1 tsp on medium low heat. After the pot is hot, mix whipping cream and cheese. Stir until melted and remove from heat. Do not overheat
  13. Place bottom bun, then patty, cooked onions, top with the fondue and place top bun on.
  14. Enjoy!
