Rosella's Pregnancy

Image
I always knew I wanted another baby. I have always wanted one boy and one girl. Eighteen months apart, a boy first. It was how I always pictured my future. So after the issues getting pregnant with Logan, I decided to try something more natural. So I took supplements that helped regulate women's hormones, which was what I needed. I know I did not go into details but it took us about 18 months to get pregnant with Logan after taking progesterone pills for 6 months. So back to this pregnancy, I decided natural supplements , with ovulation predictor kits and temping. Unlike with Logan, Rosella's pregnancy was more "planned" if you will. I was trying what I could to get pregnant without seeing my doctor. I knew exactly when my body would ovulate based on the tests and my temperature. So when I was 12 days past ovulation (DPO) , I took a pregnancy test... lets be honest I started like 8 days (which it usually takes 6-12 days to begin producing HCG if you are pregnant...

Family Trip to Disneyland 2017

No clue if I ever finished this but I do not think I did but here is the rough draft fro9m 2017. Logan was only 6 months old when we decided to go to Disneyland. Steven and I wanted to do something fun for our 3rd anniversary and since Logan was still somewhat little, it made sense because Disneyland is a place for children as well. We stayed in a hotel just outside Disneyland so we took the shuttle to and from. We did two dys at Disney with one magic morning thing where you get in an hour early. Though some of the rides that Logan could not get on, we skipped. Steven did however go on a few just himself and one I did as well. I actually prefer the smaller rides like Peter Pan, Snow White and those type. So I was fine without the bigger kid type rides. We did get Logan these cute little outfits to wear while we were there and he was sooo adorable! Day 1: It ended up raining most of the day, but we did have a clear cover that went over the stroller so it  kept Logan dry and we h...

The Arrival of Steven Logan Singer

As many of you know, we were really hoping to have the baby on September 4, to carry on a tradition in my family. My father, and both of my grandmas are all born on September 4th. So to have a baby on that day would be amazing. So as the 4th got near, we were all getting anxious for the little one to make his way into the world. September 1st, in the morning at work I could feel some very mild pain/cramps as I sat at work. As the day progressed, the pain was just discomfort. I pushed them aside as Braxton Hick contractions since, well, I do not recall having any during the pregnancy. September 2nd, I decided to go into work even though the pain and cramping was back. But this time it was feeling a bit more like contractions. Very mild where I just ignored them but they were there. They did not go away after a few hours and it was getting a wee bit hard to walk even. So after I finished my work and attended our meeting, I went home. But of course, the pain subsided again. Septembe...

Logan's Pregnancy

On the morning of January 20, 2016, i decided that it was long enough after my missed period to test. I was 21 days late but also didn't take my medicine until 10 days after my period was supposed to start. (I know a little more details that you want.) But, anywho. So I finished my 12 days of medicine and then 4 days passed. Which leaves us on Jan 20th. When I got up that morning, Steven had already left for work so it was just me. Taking the test, it almost immediately showed "pregnant". My eyes filed with tears and I started to cry. With all the previous negative tests after missing a period I was not prepared for the results. Since I did not have to be at work until later in the morning, I went and bought another test and headed to work. On my lunch break I took the test only to find it still said "pregnant". All day at work I was nervous and happy and it was hard to control my emotions without telling anyone. Friday morning came and I was sick so I did...
